Unblow the bombs bring back the dead heal the root wound of this madness… Cease Fire Now And as the storm rages I Cast a spell (over their head) Over the head of the aggressor Over the head of the oppressor Unblow the bombs bring back the dead heal the root wound of this madness

The dream isn't free. It's buried in the streets. Paid for, by the hour. There's watchguards in the tower. They know when you're not home, when you're creeping around in the dark underground. You know where they can't go, so follow the sound and let go. An empty tree hides a staircase, and at its peak, all you could know. I'm face to face, in the right place, with the one who told me where I should go. When I first met you I was down in a hole. The sand was sinking. When I first met you I was all out of rope. My hands were aching. Trying to find a way to find a way to help me out I'm trying to find a way to find a way to get me... Wanting here, but going there Flying in, but tapping out Don't you feel like you're not trying hard enough Can't you see that you're not trying hard enough Won't you say that you're not trying hard enough It's hard to tell when you're not trying hard enough

about

This compilation is a collective project by a group of artists/musicians based in the so-called United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, and Aotearoa (New Zealand). Our intention is to express solidarity with the people of Palestine through music and by raising funds to support Palestinian-led mutual aid efforts.

All of the funds from this project will be donated directly to Palestinian-led mutual aid efforts, such as those led by families seeking support in their survival and evacuation to safety, as well as those that are currently providing mobile e-SIMS to people on the ground. For full transparency- we have created a google document with a running list of mutual aid initiatives that we intend to support as well as dated receipts for all funds received and donated will be linked in the album description. This will be updated on no less than a weekly basis:

docs.google.com/document/d/1jevO2t4WeUtGCqxqril1w8DN4X9-8NZx97i0c3jfTbQ/edit?usp=sharing

We recognize that donating funds is not enough of a solution to this crisis, and affirm the need to continue taking action through boycotts, divestment, sanctions (bdsmovement.net) and other actions of protest and resistance.

We acknowledge that many people in our industry have felt “inhibited” to speak out in support of Palestine over the past few months, out of fear of losing opportunities or fans. We hope that this project can re-affirm the power that we as artists and musicians have to take action and express solidarity directly through our art and public influence.

We condemn the genocide of the Palestinian people, perpetuated by the state of Israel with support from the United States and the United Kingdom, which has been ongoing since the 1940s and has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of civilians, caused environmental devastation, and left countless Palestinians currently mutilated, traumatized and homeless. We affirm the right of Indigenous peoples worldwide to freedom and safety on their homelands.
